Venerable Geshe Tenzing Tamding will lead the relief effort organized by Chu Sup Tsang Foundation and Garden Choeling Buddhist Center to assist 2015 earthquake survivors in Nepal. We arrive at Kathmandu on Oct 1st and the relief activities starts from Oct 2nd to Oct 4th. The main activities are cooking and distributing food to the local residents who are in need. From Oct 6th to Oct 9th, Geshela will take us to a very special Pilgrim tour to visit Buddha's birthplace, the place where Buddha's previous reincarnation offered his body to save a family of tigers, the place of Vajrayogini meditated and blessed, as well as pay our respects to the Prajnaparamita Sutra brought back by Great Nargajuna Bodhisattva from the Naga's palace. On 10th, everyone is back home.
